Description
Echinacea Compositum Cosmoplex (Entzundungs) Tablets
Dosage: For chronic forms: 1 tablet to be dissolved in the mouth 1-3 times daily. In acute disorders, initially 1 tablet every 30-60 minutes, not to exceed 12 tablets daily.
Do not use longer than 8 weeks without seeking medical advice.
Package sizes: Packs containing 50 and 250 tablets.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to one of the active ingredients or excipients, or to plants of the Composite family or the genus Rhus of the Anacardiaceae family. As a matter of principle, Echinacea should not be used in progressive, systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukaemia or leukaemia-like diseases, inflammatory di- seases of the connective tissue (collagen disease), auto- immune diseases, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infec- tions or other chronic viral diseases.
Note: This remedy contains lactose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product.
Side effects: Hypersensitivity reactions can occur in in- dividual cases. Skin rash and itching (pruritus), and in rare cases facial swelling, shortness of breath (dysp- noea), dizziness and a fall in blood pressure, have been observed after treatment with products containing Echinacea extracts.
Interactions with other medication: None known.
Composition: 1 tablet cont.: Echinacea D2 0.9 mg, Lachesis mutus D10 0,3 mg, Hepar sulfuris D8 0.3 mg Phytolacca americana D4 0.3 mg, Thuja occidentalis D4 0.3 mg, Bryonia D4 0.3 mg, Chamomilla recutita D6 0.3 mg, Toxicodendron quercifolium D4 0.3 mg. Indications: For stimulating the body's own defence mechanisms in cases of localized inflammation e.g. in the neck, nose and throat region (tonsillitis, rhinitis, sinu- sitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis). For minor injuries with a ten- dency to inflammation, also for skin afflictions such as furuncles
